Born in 1980 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Rafael Barata is the first call Jazz and Bossa Nova drummer in the city. Young, but keeping the 60's alive with Brazilian Samba Jazz drumming, he does it playing with diverse top artists in Brazil. Currently, Barata is on a world tour with Eliane Elias Quartet.
