Top Zildjian Cymbal Artist in India - Ranjit Barot - Now Playing Zildjian Drumsticks
Ranjit Barot, one of the most sought after drummers, composers and arrangers in India, has recently joined the family of Zildjian Drumstick Artists.
Ranjit's chosen Drumstick is the Zildjian 6A Wood Natural.
He says "With Zildjian Cymbals and Drumsticks I am able to extract sounds that best express the duality in my music, of the East and West."
Ranjit was recently featured as the drummer on John McLaughlin's Grammy nominated album, Floating Point.
Currently, Ranjit is working on an album entitled Bada Boom, which features some of the greatest musicians on the scene today, both in India and internationally. This album is a collection of Ranjit's latest Jazz Fusion and World compositions with performances by many internationally renowned musicians including Ustad Zakir Hussain, John McLaughlin, U. Srinivas, Scott Kinsey, Matt Garrison, Dominique DiPiazza, Harmeet Manseta, Sanjay Divecha, U. Rajesh, Tim Garland, Gwilym Symcock and Elie Afif.
