Pino started to play drums at a very young age in the environment of a musical family influenced by his father who was a professional musician. He studied with the well known Italian drummer Tullio De Piscopo, and has played in over 90 albums. His favourite Cymbal is the 20" Ride K Constantinople Madium with its unique sonic identity.
Pino uses exclusively DW Collector Drums, Zildjian Cymbals K Series, Remo Drum Heads and Zildjian Signature drumsticks.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
My musical trend has always been JAZZ. I've studied this genre a lot thanks to my teacher, Tullio de Piscopo. I've studied a lot of Dave Weckl who has been my revelation of modern drums. I also like a lot Gavin Harrison and Winnie Colaiuta. I actually listen to many types of music and because of my profession. I play rock, pop, fusion and jazz. My love of music and my instrument continue inspiring me since I was 10 when I started.
WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS
The advice that I would want to transmit to the new generation of musicians is that they have to study a lot, without distractions. You have to be really constant and confident. Groove, sound, and technique, professionalism and seriousness. It's really important to have all these requirements to make a life out of music.
FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO
My favorites which I use are: K Series. I love the sound and versatility that they can fit it every music style. It's a series that for me it is the number one. I like Kerope and Special Dry a lot - This last one is fantastic, with a dark sound that is trending now.
